“Seafood at Sunset” is a series of cooking demonstrations featuring fish and seasonal vegetables on the rooftop of Play Arcade. Free to the public thanks to a grant from the New Bedford Local Cultural Council. La Rhonda also known as the “South Coast Sicilian,” will be cooking up tapas-style dishes featuring local seafood, while highlighting local farms that provide the community with beautiful produce and small businesses from the SouthCoast. Each Sunday throughout the summer, La Rhonda will feature what is in season, both in and out of the water (or in a tin), and highlight the city’s beautiful history through her storytelling and the art of making. So come on up to the deck, enjoy a lovely sunset evening overlooking the historic harbour of New Bedford, it is the most beautiful view and free to access anytime during the summer with a gracious and friendly staff and delicious food.
