A wateke is a laid-back social gathering typical in the Caribbean islands and coasts where the community would come to together in harmony to share music, food, and culture. Our wateke will honor our ancestors and relatives with traditional Indigenous Caribbean (Taino, Arawak, Caribe) music, storytelling and Traditional Wampanoag social songs
We will all have food trucks,a resource fair, local and Indigenous vendors, live artists, face painting, kayak rentals and more!
