New Bedford Whaling Museum Hosts “Sailing Towards My Father,” One-Man Play About Moby-Dick Author Herman Melville:

Written and directed by Carl A. Rossi, the play chronicles Melville’s life from youth to old age, concentrating on his evolution as a writer and his complex relationships with God, his parents and siblings, his wife and children, and fellow author Nathaniel Hawthorne. This insightful production offers audiences a vivid and intimate portrayal of one of America’s most influential literary figures.

Located at Cook Memorial Theater Inside the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Tickets are $10 for Members and $20 for Non-Members
