Hatch Street Studios

Spring Open Studios at Hatch Street Studios is a one-day public event where visitors are invited inside the historic mill buildings at 88 & 90 Hatch Street in New Bedford to explore the creative spaces where artists work every day. Throughout the day, artists open their studio doors and welcome visitors to walk through the halls, meet the creators, and see artwork in progress. Guests can expect to discover a wide variety of work including painting, ceramics, fiber art, sculpture, photography, jewelry, mixed media, and other handcrafted pieces. Many artists will also have artwork available for purchase. In addition to the resident artists of Hatch Street Studios, the event will feature guest artists, makers, and specialty vendors throughout the building, offering handmade goods, unique gifts, and creative products. With Mother’s Day the following day, visitors will also find thoughtful gift options for the special people in their lives.
