His work engages the viewer by highlighting a poetic resourcefulness and explores the potential that lies in the mundane. Deininger also admits that is serves as a healthy solution to his pack rat tendencies and hunter-gatherer impulses that he has not been able to evolve past. His work can be found in public and private collections through out the world.
