Arts Illuminated invites area artists creating in all kinds of art mediums to submit their work for a Friday, July 11, show at Hatch Street Studios, hosted by The New Bedford Light.
Deadline for submission is Friday, June 27, via online form, where you can upload your work for review.
Arts Illuminated, formerly known as the Fine Arts Club, is a place that celebrates talented local artists as well as a marketplace where buyers, enthusiasts and artists meet.
– It offers an opportunity for South Coast artists to share and sell their work to an engaged group of collectors and art enthusiasts.
– It’s open to any local artist who practices in one of the fine arts and all prospective art buyers. Disciplines include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and textiles.
-The free event begins with a short introduction by The New Bedford Light editors, followed by a moderated event featuring local artist Devin “Nived” McLaughlin.
– It’s followed by artist presentations and a 30-minute “Afterglow,” a loosely structured open discussion among the artists, buyers and other attendees about art-related topics.
