DESCRIPTION:Join Gallery X on Friday\, June 19 for Cinema 169\, a free film screening inspired by the visual art exhibition on view at Gallery X. To coincide with the QUEER FUTURES exhibition we will be screening the 1999 dystopian\, sci-fi epic\, THE MATRIX directed by Lana & Lilly Wachowski. \nReservations recommended\, but not required. Doors at 6:30\, the screening will begin at 7:00.\nThis screening is free and open to the public\, refreshments will be available to purchase inside Gallery X. \nCinema 169 is supported in part by a grant from the New Bedford Cultural Council\, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council\, a state agency. \nSynopsis: What is the Matrix?
