Experience Curious Figure 3 during New Bedford’s AHA! Night, a citywide celebration of arts and culture where galleries, studios, and creative organizations open their doors for an evening of public programming across downtown.

This special reception invites visitors to explore the national juried exhibition of contemporary figurative artists while participating in the vibrant atmosphere that makes AHA! Night a cornerstone of New Bedford’s creative community.

During the evening, Curious Figure 3 will also host its Artist Awards Ceremony, recognizing selected works from this year’s exhibition cohort. The awards celebrate outstanding artistic achievement among the artists representing 38 cities across 21 states, highlighting the strength and diversity of contemporary figurative practice.
Awards

Four awards will be presented:
Best in Show — $2,100 and two copies of the exhibition catalogue
Best in Craftsmanship — $200 and one copy of the catalogue
Best in Concept — $200 and one copy of the catalogue
Zeitgeist Award (“Most On-Point”) — $200 and one copy of the catalogue

Visitors are encouraged to experience the exhibition as part of their AHA! Night art walk, while also discovering the many galleries, performances, and cultural events happening throughout downtown New Bedford.
