Step into a storybook afternoon at the New Bedford Art Museum!
Join children’s author Stefanie Foster Brown for a magical reading of her debut picture book, My Heart Speaks Kriolu, a tale inspired by her family’s Cape Verdean roots and the spirit of New Bedford itself.

We’ll transform the KidZone classroom into a cozy reading nook, perfect for little listeners and big imaginations alike. After the story, kids can roll up their sleeves for a hands-on craft with our playful KidZone crew.

Bring your curiosity, your creativity, and your cozies because this event is completely free and open to everyone! Books will be available for purchase and signing after story time.
