This workshop is for anyone who wants to help shape their community through elected or appointed office, whether you might consider running or serving someday or want to learn how to help others run. Come learn about the work we do at ELECT South Coast (ESC)! Formed by Colleen Dawicki and Jordan Latham, ESC is an all-volunteer organization committed to advancing our collective good, investing in our region’s future, and improving gender parity in public office. This one-hour workshop will introduce participants to ESC’s programming, resources, and a network of women who are committed to advancing women’s political leadership. Our goal is to demystify political campaigns and serving in public office (from City Council and School Board to your local Cultural Council), and we encourage people of all genders to join us and prepare for the possibility of public office!

ESC’s Co-Directors, Colleen Dawicki and Jordan Latham, have extensive experience in field operations, digital content creation, networking, serving in public office (both elected and appointed), and campaign finance.
