Teacher Workshop
New Bedford area educators are invited to a free workshop at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum on July

17th at noon for a workshop with Dr. Sarah Crabtree, a researcher on William Rotch Sr. (1734 – 1828). Teachers will learn about Rotch Sr. during the period of the Revolutionary War and receive materials to help them integrate that information and the RJD Museum into classroom curriculum.

This workshop is a part of several programs that the RJD is presenting in anticipation of a historical graphic novel about the life of William Rotch Sr., penned by Dr. Crabtree, including an exhibition of the novel with the artist that will be in the house later this year and available to the public and on tours.
