New Bedford Fire Museum

*The Museum opens July 5th – September 5th and is closed for the winter*

The New Bedford Fire Museum is a unique place dedicated to the presentation of the development of urban firefighting technology, equipment, and organizations. A preserved collection of antique equipment and memorabilia is on display at the Fire Museum at Old Station No.4 just outside the Historic District. Old Fire Station No. 4 was built in 1867 and is possibly the oldest active station in the State of Massachusetts. Thre is a great kid’s section and the museum is fun for all.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday 1-4PM (July 5th-September 5th)
