The Whalehouse

The Whalehouse is a grand Victorian built in 1855. The former house of Herman Melville’s sister, it is thought he used to visit her at this location. The house has two sections: The Main House (3 beds, 3 baths) and The Guest Suite (1 bed, 1 bath), which are available for short-term stays individually or The Entire Estate. The home is also available as a photo shoot and/or film location, workshop venue, or for other creative space needs.
