The Whalehouse

The Whalehouse is a grand Victorian built in 1855. The former house of Herman Melville’s sister, it is thought he used to visit her at this location. The house has two sections: The Main House and The Guest Suite, which are available for short-term stays. The Main House is also available as a photo shoot and film location, workshop venue, and for other creative space needs.
