Mass Humanities is thrilled to invite you to celebrate the essential role of community storytelling at our inaugural Story Summit gathering. This new event series will kick off in New Bedford, with a focus on storytelling as a means of combating climate change. We have the pleasure of presenting the Massachusetts Storyteller Award to the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, represented by David Weeden. In addition to enjoying live music performances and light refreshments, guests will have the opportunity to watch a new short film documenting some of the recent storytelling work being done by organizations in Massachusetts to make sense of climate challenges.
