Join us for a community photography workshop centered on the concept of New England as the “11th Island” of the Cabo Verdean archipelago! The workshop will take place between 2 and 5pm on July 25th, in affiilation with the Cape Verdean Association in New Bedford’s festival, and will be led by local Cabo Verdean photographers Ron Barboza and Leia Onofrey.

We invite you to drop in between 2 and 5 and share selections from your home photography collections — personal photos as well as family photos — that speak to the question: “What does being in the ’11th Island’ mean to you?”
