Bullard at The Wamsutta Club, Thursday, November 13, 2025 John Bullard will be discussing his book Hometown ~ a Memoir at the Wamsutta Club, 427 County Street, New Bedford MA on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 6pm to 8:30pm. The memoir is a vibrant story about Bullard’s life growing up in the area. He weaves a vibrant tale of a family legacy intertwined with the complexities of being mayor of New Bedford, and his lifelong commitment to public. The event is hosted by Spinner Publications and is the first of a series of intimate fundraisers meant to raise awareness of Spinner Publications and Spinner’s local history books. The event will be a relaxed, cocktail party ambiance with a meet and greet cocktail hour that will include passed hors d’oeuvres, a cheese & fruit plate, vegetables crudité and a cash bar. The book talk and Q & A will follow. Ticket price $35. Hometown books will be available for sale and a book signing.
