Spinner Publications Celebrates 45 Years of Publishing with a series of Author Talks! Author Ben Shattuck is coming in person to chat about his captivating book, THE HISTORY OF SOUND: Stories. On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Spinner Publications will host author Ben Shattuck at the Wamsutta Club, 427 County Street, New Bedford, MA, from 6pm to 8:30pm. Ben will talk about the journey that led him to write his latest book, The History of Sound: Stories, and explore its complex themes, including the deep connections between love, loss, and history. This engaging and informative talk will include a Q&A session with the audience.
